PL-RIS: actual applications interface
PL-RIS is the AW-SYS module
which allows PC-Sim simulated PLCs to be connected to actual equipment
or working panels installed in the laboratory.
For normal operation the following hardware components are required:
 | PC communication port connection cable |
| hardware interface for 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs |
| two multipolar connecting cables to actual control system |
Hardware interfaces may be bus-interconnected to increase the amount of available I/O.
