PC-RIS: actual PLCs interface
PC-RIS is the AW-SYS module
which allows the
various hardware systems to drive PL-Sim simulated
applications. Hardware systems, although possibly available in the
laboratory,
are not supplied with the AW-SYS
package. They may include:
 | actual PLCs (any commercially available trade mark) |
| microprocessor systems |
| microcontrollers |
| hardwired logic electronic boards |
| hardwired logic electrical panels |
| personal computer, equipped with I/O cards. |
For normal operation the following hardware components are required:
| PC communication port connection cable |
| hardware interface for 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs |
| two multipolar connecting cables to actual control system |
