The animated setting of this installation shows a four-storey building with a typical lift system which incorporates an electrical motor drive and counterweighted enclosure. The motor is installed in a separate room over the lift well. On the left, the limit switches together with the call push buttons and light indicators are shown for each floor.
The lift entrance is in the lower section; however, it is not shown in the building picture. This enabled us to check door status and closing, people inside the lift enclosure and the interruption of the photocell light beam. The internal control panel is shown on the left; it has been virtually moved outside for presentation and explanatory purposes.
